For The Love of Pi

From J Wiley Photography: One cute detail I really enjoyed was that the couple was married on “Pi Day” (3.14.15) and incorporated their date into the wedding dress hanger, and made reference to the symbolism of the date in their vows.

Google To The Rescue!

From the Bride: We did all of the pre-planning ourselves and used GoogleDrive to keep track of all of our inspiration boards, budgets, vendor lists, guest lists etc.

It allowed us to share the planning with each other from the start, and to keep track of everything through the whole process. I don’t think we could have stayed so organized without it.

Easy Going & A Touch of Class

From J Wiley Photography: Chris & Karen’s wedding was full of subtle style and casual elegance.  The setting of the Santa Barbara Historical Museum struck the perfect balance of laid-back sophistication. From the Bride: We used the natural look of the venue as much as possible and the early springtime helped aid in the natural ambiance of the venue. We both really love older styles from the 50s to 70s. Lots of art-deco touches, when combined with the rustic wine barrels, make for a great mix.

Rethinking The First Dance

We picked a pretty long song for our first dance, Major Lazer – Get Free, it has a lot of great memories for us even before our wedding day, but somehow neither of us really realized how long it was until we were dancing, and dancing – had we realized it before our wedding day, I think we would have shortened it a bit!

Kick Off & Kick Up Your Heels

We picked this venue because we really enjoy Santa Barbara and the natural surrounding… and also because we could do a lot of things ourselves. Oh, and our DJs and the dance party they helped build were a huge point of emphasis when planning the wedding.
