Sacramento Engagement Session – Jenelle and Dustin

Timing is everything! This dynamic duo met while both their families were on vacation in a darling little town East of Sacramento called Pollock Pines. Both families had vacationed there for years and had never crossed paths before. Jenelle and Dustin met, hit it off, found out they both lived in the Bay Area and went on their first date a week later. Their first date turned into a 6-hour I-don’t-want-this-night-to-end kind of date and the two have been inseparable ever since. Dustin proposed with a ring box in the bottom of Jenelle’s Easter basket in 2010 and a simple, “I want to marry you and I think we should do it next May.” You gotta love a guy who knows exactly what he wants!
We had so much fun photographing Jenelle and Dustin during their Engagement Session or “Date Night” as we call them at The Memory Journalists. They are so natural and comfy with each other, it made for a beautiful shoot. Jenelle and Dustin will be married this May at David Girard Vineyards in Placerville, California, a hop skip and a jump from where they first met.
