An italian vintage photo shoot by Le Frufrù

Share

Hello everyone! I’m Chiara of  le Frufrù this project is about a vintage  shooting made in Italy.

For this session I was inspired by  typewriter “Valentine” of Olivetti, a piece of Italian 70′s design and “my funny Valentine”a Chet Backer’s song. Based on these three elements and combining my passion for embroidery and crochet I created a dessert table and an inspiration e-session. The idea was to give everything an hand made and vintage mood. I have used embroidery for the cake topper and for a frame that shows the philosophy of the entire session: “Every day is Valentine’s Day”. Details crochet hanging from the branches of a tree and in small nests taken in hand by the couple. The graphics and illustrations are based on characters of the typewriter and rows of old school notebooks to give a more romantic. Outside, I created two positions: one for a great pic Nic where we find many vintage items, from old lp player, the old 45 rmp, with vintage tin boxes and bottles of “spuma” a drink very popular in the 60′s and 70′s in Italy. Between the branches of the tree are also frames that carry sentences of four famous love songs.
