Budget-Friendly Micro Wedding Ideas That Will Blow Your Mind

A Budget-Friendly Micro Wedding That Will Blow Your Mind

Budgeting for a wedding is difficult (especially now!). Everything adds up and it can seem overwhelming when you’re looking at the tally all at once. This team came together to prove that you can have an affordable wedding that looks great too, you just need to know how to stretch your budget and create a big look with minimal effort. For this inspiration shoot, they used a clean white venue, it looks expensive, but loft spaces like this are surprisingly budget-friendly and can easily be transformed into your dream wedding space. They also incorporated a lot of DIY elements and opted for minimalist florals with colors that pack a punch. Together, all of these pieces create one stunning wedding that won’t break the bank.

Color is definitely the star in these bright photos by Chaise Tinsley. They decided to set the shoot at Factory Atlanta, a big open white space, because it is approachable and it is easy for couples everywhere to find a similar space near them. Sara Clark created these stunning florals, keeping them just as gorgeous as they are budget-friendly. You can see more from this fun shoot in the full gallery. Keep scrolling to read more from Photographer, Chaise Tinsley about how you can incorporate these ideas into your own micro-wedding.

GET CRAFTY

A Budget-Friendly Micro Wedding That Will Blow Your Mind

We wanted to try out a modern take on your standard spring palette. While these colors are usually soft and delicate, we wanted to blend in an alternative edge with an industrial venue and a custom powder blue gown by Elizabeth Dye–It’s both daring, dainty, and fem all in one. We’re hoping for a big return to color as couples ‘go for it’ after waiting it out in 2020. This set is sure to inspire luxe micro weddings for those not yet ready to return to full-size weddings. Though it’s extreme in color, it’s a simple setup for couples to replicate and can be executed in any modern white space. The ceremony site backdrop boards are DIY as well as the table number cards. Can’t find the floral color you need? Spray paint it! Get wild. Can’t afford a crazy cake? Get a simple white cake from the grocery store and give your florist a blank canvas to play with. We’re encouraging couples to make bold choices in their wedding creations this year and showing them it can be done on an affordable, smaller scale.

A MODERN TAKE ON OMBRE

A Budget-Friendly Micro Wedding That Will Blow Your Mind

The tablescapes were inspired by traditional ombre. This look is for a modern couple that wants something clean and sleek, yet playful. The color story is carried through to the seating chart, ceremony site, and wedding cake. This explosion of florals included tulips, ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus, anemones, roses, anthurium, scabiosa, and painted foliage. The invitations took on that clean monochrome look as well but were paired with a burst of color from the florals.

A BLANK SLATE

Factory Atlanta is a blank page for couples to transform. The all-white space serves as the perfect backdrop for pops of color. This venue also has multiple indoor options for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so you won’t need to have a rain backup for those spring showers in the South. Your guests will also have plenty of room to spread out. Sitting just 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta, this venue keeps you close to the heart of the city without being too far into the hustle.
