From the fringe to the floral headdress and celebratory shot of tequila…you’d never guess that this shoot took place in Germany! This team wanted a Mexican-themed wedding and did they deliver, or what? Even the architecture in the venue harkens back to Mayan temples with gold and turquoise accents. It goes to show that no matter where you are in the world if you have a great team of vendors behind you, they can transport you wherever you want to go…even if it’s just in photos.
Having a venue that looks the part is half of the battle, and Palais Wunderlich was absolutely perfect for this shoot! Mic Panic beautifully captured the warmth and vibrance of Mexico in these photos. Falco Eventi brought this talented team together and perfectly planned every detail. The florals by Wilddaisy Wedding played a huge role in this shoot and really showcased the color palette and theme. Loud Cinematography filmed as this inspiration came to life. BRINGING MEXICO TO GERMANY
How do you bring Mexico to Lahr, Germany? For our wedding styled shoot, we let Mexican tradition collide with German modernity. Mountains, deserts, beaches, and primeval forests: The country of Mexico not only fascinates with its varied landscapes and unique climate but the residents also leave a lasting effect with their hospitality and joie de vivre. During this shoot, I was inspired by all of these aspects and feelings which helped conjure up an unmistakable atmosphere.
TO WANDER IS TO LIVE
As adventurous travelers, the couple André and Naïs, who stunned as bride and groom, have been unstoppable for four years, which made them authentic and full of love in front of the camera. Whether on foot or by bike, the two lovers explore different countries. So they were already enchanted by the inhabitants and the landscape of Mexico.
WARMTH AND CUSTOMS
We created a magical ceremony in the park, which was accompanied by a guitarist and violinist. The bride felt fabulous in her Dakota dress by Willowby. The large windows of the orangery let warm sunbeams fall on colorful flowers and golden autumn tones, which, combined with the soft white of the graceful wedding dress, created a romantic atmosphere for our shoot.
We wanted to stay as authentic as possible with the tablescape, which is why we opted for a natural wooden table and large palm leaves that underlined the connection to Mexican nature and the traditional bright colors and blue accents that a Mexican wedding wouldn’t be complete without. Candles completed the romantic mood. And who needs a signature cocktail when you can have a shot of tequila?
