Wintertime comes to the most soulful states in the US and Ooh! Events, shows how to stay chic and cozy in pure class southern comfort style. Keeping things classic with gold and white but adding a bold print and a show-stopping punch of royal blue gives this whole day a sense of southern drama that we cannot stop staring at.

Inspired by warm colors, a clean background, and two brides in love, this shoot dreamed to be a different take on a classic winter look. Living in the south, we are aware that there is not enough representation of love in all forms, so we wanted a shoot that honored that, while still fitting in a dreamy classic wedding vision. These two brides brought it, by combining a natural love to romantic and feminine details, and classic southern charm and we fell completely head over heels for it.

We decided to use the Observatory, which overlooks a prime Downtown Charleston location, on the top floor of Hotel Bennett, because it had such a clean background, which allowed these classic Winter colors to truly pop. Taking portraits around the gorgeous venue and downtown Charleston made it even better and allowed us to add a city element to this shoot.
