You would probably never guess it, but this tropical infused wedding you’re about to see took place nowhere near a beach! In fact, it was the beautiful green space at Dallas Oasis in Texas that proved to be the perfect fit for this vibrant wedding inspo styled by Alexa Kay Events.
A team of talented vendors collaborated to recreate the look and feel of a tropical destination wedding in the heart of the midwest, and it packs a serious tropical punch bursting with good vibes + vibrant colors. Photographer Monika Normand sums it up best, “Never be afraid to think outside the box when planning your wedding. From Monika Normand Photography: Until planning this styled shoot, I didn’t think bringing this level of destination wedding beauty to the Midwest was possible. Would you believe all this tropical vibrant wedding romance took place 30 minutes south of Dallas, TX? One of the most exciting things about Dallas is the wide variety of landscape and architectural influence you’ll find here. Palm trees and cherry blossoms grace gardens alongside cacti and pines. You’ll see modern glass buildings next to ranches and old brick warehouses that have stood the test of time.

We chose the Dallas Oasis as our tropical “destination” venue for its lush gardens and acres of beautiful green space. We wanted to show potential couples a theme that packed a punch, and with the vibrant florals, modern gold accents, maroon suit, and colorful wedding cake, I think we did just that.
