What It Would Look Like If You Got Married At A French Château

With so many Marie Antonette wedding themes running around, that over the top French style is definitely a popular one. But what if you were to scale it back to just a floral filled wedding day at a proper French Château? So Special Events organized a beautiful day just like this to prove you certainly don’t need silly wigs or sky-high cakes to have a stunning wedding day at Château de Dangu

Keep scrolling to see more of this gorgeous bride in her Mae Collection wedding dress and the dreamy elegance of the whole day! Daria Lorman Photography also has more to show you from this event in the full gallery, so don’t forget to stop in and have a look.

Modern Meets History

By organizing this shooting we wanted to show international couples what their wedding in France could look like if they entrust their wedding planning to So Special Events. Our wedding team wanted to create a unique aristocratic atmosphere where everything is designed to enjoy the moment and to celebrate life.

We mixed modernity with history and elegance with the simplicity of a countryside. Our talented florist created modern floral compositions that completed the look of the castle by “dressing it up” even more and adding that tender, feminine touch.

The diamond and sapphire ring our bride wore was one of the most popular engagement ring models in France. It is called the ring Pompadour as a similar ring was once worn by a famous mistress, the owner of our castle.
