Mismatched And Salvaged Glamorous Wedding ideas

Share

2 piece wedding dress and skirt

The era of The Great Depression inspired both the styling and thought process behind all these eclectic and beautiful wedding ideas. Each collaborator took on an air of ingenuity when creating their pieces, and because of such, the theme of “reusing” was carried throughout the styling.

From the salvaged antique furniture to the mismatched silverware and bottles as well as candleholders. The resourcefulness of the shoot rang true to the era inspiration. Each floral arrangement was thoughtfully crafted, utilizing dried and foraged plant material and flora recycled from previous events. The stationery pieces and paper products feature handmade cotton paper and naturally hand-dyed ribbon made from recycled saris sourced from a village in India.  As you will see, every last detail was carefully hand-selected. You must see every last detail close up in the full gallery here

Coordinated and styled by Victoria Stipcak. Photographed by Sparks Ignite Photography and Victoria Irene Photography.

The couple wore two looks – the first, a more romantic vibe and the second, was a bolder look. With each look, the bride donned a grand textured skirt that was contrastingly paired with a sweater – who wouldn’t want to wear their favorite sweater on their wedding day?  The first sweater was from XOXO.

The earrings from the bride’s first look were even crafted by hand specifically for the occasion by G.C. Wyant Jewelry.

Another large focal point of this styled photo shoot were elements of contrast. It was central for us to showcase this beautiful wedding scene against an unexpected backdrop. The skeleton of an old farm shed worked as the home for the couple’s sweetheart table. See more of the table set up in the full gallery here

eco friendly wedding ideas

Floral hoops are all the rage right now, and we cannot get enough of them. Such an incredibly fun and alternative idea for the bride who wants a little something different.

Not only is this hoop on trend, but also eco-friendly since it is thoughtfully made of dried florals and branches. We can already foresee this one getting pinned over and over again.

Two cakes were His and Hers cakes that played with components of femininity and masculinity. We also have to mention the lovely handmade lollipops again. So beautiful.
