Oooooh if you’re loving the recent llama wedding trend, you won’t want to miss this next gorgeous inspiration with modern decor and vintage charm. The adorable alpacas from Mountain Peaks Therapy Llamas & Alpaca were definitely the stars of the show with their snazzy hair cuts, but that’s not all there is to love from this shoot.
From the gorgeous ballerina inspired bridal look to the stunning blooms from Seattle based florist, Flower + Fern. Mariangela Abeo and a talented team of vendors did an amazing job bringing this styled shoot to life at Opal28 in downtown, Portland. ballerina and alpacas
Our bride is a ballerina of the Pacific Northwest Ballet–A beautiful ballerina bride and some adorable alpacas–and we centered everything around that idea. We wanted everything around them to be simple, clean, and elegant. We thought of jewel ruby tones. We found an amazing indoor location in downtown Portland, Opal28. Their venue is the perfect size and gives off that rustic, vintage, classic feel. We used two rental companies and a calligraphist from Portland as well.
Gorgeous blooms
With florals we wanted something to match the venue and our florist, Flower + Fern, from Seattle has such uniqueness with his arrangements. He created an installation that served as our ceremony spot and an intricate shaped bouquet. This shoot was such an amazing collaboration with each vendor showcasing things they thought would be perfect for our base theme and our videographer captured it all so beautifully.
unique dessert display
We wanted our table setup to be modern and wanted a different idea than a typical “cake and dessert table.” Our rental companies thought of a shelving unit with rows of treats. We thought fruits, and delicate desserts, and why not popcorn and created a unique setup.
