beautiful location for destination weddings

From the planner, Meena Lee of 5th Avenue Weddings & Events: When Eric, the manager, first came to me and showed me photos of Villa Medicea I automatically knew it was a place that I had to visit and do a shoot on location. Brides are constantly looking for new and beautiful places but there is nothing like seeing a place in person. It’s not hard to find that in Itlay, but I knew Villa Medicea was going to different with its rolling Tuscan hills and views the Duomo of Florence as its back drop, it’s hard find something wrong with here.

not your typical tuscan inspiration

I knew I didn’t want to have the typical Tuscan inspiration of olive branches and tan tablecloths as our shoot. I wanted to elevate the shoot to not only enhance the sense of luxury you feel when staying at Villa Medicea, but also show there is more to Italy than tan, white and green. Sometimes bringing in too much color fights your backdrop so we kept with neutral tables and classic wooden chairs. Tall candelabras with lush florals, sterling silver flatware and silver-accented pieces helped bring the elegance I was looking for to the Tuscan tablescape. Designing for a space always has its challenges, but there are so many hidden gems here, you just can’t go wrong.
