Inspired by J.K. Rowlings, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” Haleigh of Sweet Southern Party and a talented team of vendors wanted to bring all the wizarding magic to life for this wedding inspiration and left no detail unturned.
Even bowtruckle managed to make a magical appearance, along with a beautiful falcon for the bride, and a lovely cake inspired by the front cover of the book. Fantastic Beasts Inspiration
From Emily Marie Photography: Haleigh of Sweet Southern Party brought our Fantastic Beasts Styled Shoot alive in the most perfect way. She left no detail out, including a little bowtruckle and a falcon. This shoot was a two day affair to photograph our sweet bride with the falcon.
The story behind the shoot
The storyline behind the shoot is as such: our bride was enjoying some time with her pet falcon before her wedding and then touched her portkey to be transported to her wedding at The American Hotel in Staunton, VA. There she is re-united with her groom and they get married by the train station. The train places a big part in both Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter, making it the perfect location for their ceremony.
A Fantastic Beasts Wedding
They were married in a “love nest,” which was designed and created by Haleigh of Sweet Southern Party. Brittany of Farmstead Designs Studio designed a gorgeous invitation suite complete with menu cards and a really cool Wizard newspaper. Bijou’s Sweets made a cake that was clearly inspired by the stunning front of the book, Fantastic Beasts! The Wishing Well designed a bouquet, boutonniere, and centerpiece with the perfect jewel tones! They are also the masterminds behind the bowtruckle!
