Bridal tea party
For this editorial, we selected the grandeur of the Estates of Sunnybrook’s McLean House for all of the picturesque spots it offers, like the manicured gardens and rolling fields that surround it. Samantha Ong, of Samantha Ong Photography, highlights the bridal suite resplendent in shades of mauve and blush accents – the perfect backdrop to a tea party featuring a plethora of pastel balloons from Elle Balloons and sinful sweets from Patricia’s Cake Creations.
Cherry blossoms & smoke bombs
Vintage consoles, like these ones from Glamorous Affairs, adds a luxe element for your sweet table that will definitely make your cake image worthy. We used the field and cherry blossom orchard behind the McLean House to create breathtaking and ethereal images featuring coloured smoke bombs. Fete Floral + Events took this year’s colour of the year, Greenery, and interpreted it into a woodland inspired tablescape of deep mossy greens accented with perennial favourites of blush cherry blossoms and garlands of spring blooms.

The boho trend of loose, airy blooms continues on but this year, a more refined approach emerges in popularity. The focus is on using interesting botanical to create movement and visual depth; interesting blooms like hand painted air plant and magnolia will make your best day ever memorable and seriously leave you swooning.
