Contemporary Cinderella
From Parade Wedding Planner: The inspiration behind this shoot was born from the specific idea of showing a modern bride who is not only elegant and self-confident in her beauty, but also romantic and dreamy. An inspiration for a contemporary bride, searching for something special and unique! We imagined a contemporary Cinderella in a warm, emotional space, with rustic architecture and rich history. Our venue of choice was the Tenuta Pantano Borghese in Rome.
Table details and decor
For the table we chose warm colors with pops of gold and a combination of styles paired with vintage furniture. The table was a vintage trunk, with hanging Edison bulbs and brass flatware. The table setting, which was nordic, featured dishes by Chez Nous and handmade creations from Di Vetro. The beautiful centerpiece created by the flower designer Farfalle Rare is loose and dramatic against the hanging laser cut “DREAM” sign in golden plexiglass from by Paper-Pow.
Contemporary details
The beautiful contemporary gown from Elisabetta Polignano is essential for the modern bride-to-be. The figure flattering style highlights the shape of the model, Tamara D’Andria, who is also known as “L’amica della Sposa” (the friend of the bride) and works as an image consultant for brides. The necklace designed by Sara Iaco of Il Lato Creativo features a vintage folding knife that was repurposed into a contemporary necklace that combines history and style beautifully.
