Colors to Fall in Love With
From Mandee Matthews: We decided on a palette of fall colors including a deep purple, rust orange, neutrals and prints. We decided to go with a variety of bridesmaid dresses to show Brides that you don’t have to be scared to mix things up. Our Bride and Groom model actually just celebrated their 5th anniversary so this was a little anniversary present to them, and the bridesmaids we’re all their friends.
Bigger and Better
When the planner and I originally started planning this shoot it was only going to be a mock Bridal shoot for a promo video that we are having made, and one day we just decided to turn it into a full styled shoot. Complete with a Bride, Groom, four bridesmaids and a horse! We really wanted to capture a country and southern but classy shoot and I think we did just that.
Pecans and Ponies
We had the shoot on a Pecan Farm and really wanted to incorporate pecans into our shoot, since that is the heart of the venue. We had cupcake sized pecan pies made, and dishes of pecans on our dessert table with our gorgeous naked cake. The cake is fully edible and the flowers are made from wafer paper by the cake artist.
The farm also houses beautiful horses and Dakota wanted to be in the shoot! He even decided to take some cake and he loved it! All of the vendors poured their heart into this shoot and you can absolutely see that.
