Beautiful pink and fuchsia bridal bouquet on pink chair

We love the unique theme of these pink sew in love wedding ideas, and can you blame us!? Not only is this entire styled shoot bathed in beautiful fuchsia tones, but the surprising and fun addition of the measuring tape and sewing elements are what truly have us swooning!
Check out the full gallery of images captured by Claire Elyse Photography! Let us know if you would incorporate your love for sewing into your wedding.

Measure Out Your Love

From Roses and Lace: Claire of Claire Elyse Photography spent time last year in Kigali, Rwanda, documenting a group of 15 women in the Umucyo Sewing Cooperative. I later came across a picture from her trip. It was a picture of a woman with a tape measure around her neck. She wanted to wear the tape measure as a symbol of the joy, pride, and deep sense of dignity she receives from having an income and a way to provide for her children. This inspired us to create a shoot that captured this love and joy of sewing, and put it into a wedding styled shoot.

To keep with the sewing theme they had a sewing cake topper and place cards that were cut in the shape of a spool of thread. An incredibly great idea for that crafty bride that we all know and love.
