Rustic Virginia Wedding At Thomas Birkby House

Share

Bride and groom share a kiss on their wedding day

Tami and Jame’s beautiful June wedding was so full of true Virginia southern charm, from the hints of dogwood, cardinals, and even Virginia peanuts included in the Save the Dates, made by Chocolate Creative Design. If you love fancied up burlap and pastel colors then you will find lots of inspiration amongst all of the cute ideas in this wedding.
All of the soft and gorgeous details of this rustic Virginia wedding were captured by Adam Barnes Fine Art Photography, and can be viewed in the full gallery here.

The Thomas Birkby House provides a gracious setting for any wedding. Its classical architecture, tasteful renovation, and superb location in the historic district of Leesburg make it such a beautiful venue. With a gorgeous gown for the bride from Jim Hjelm and magnificent florals arranged by  Holly Heider Chapple Flowers, the wedding ceremony was full of pretty things to look at.

Tami put lots of thoughtful time into creating details that were representative of her Virginia heritage. Vintage decor details, a soft pink color palette, a Scotch bar and cigar roller, Cortez Cigars, and an overall ’20s “old time Virginia” feel were standout details of the day!
