Tennessee Backyard Farm Wedding

Tennessee Backyard Farm Wedding

Weston and Daley wanted a simple and laid back backyard wedding. Lucky for them, a plot of land and small stone house located in Crossville, Tennessee was generously given up for their wedding venue. This rural farm known as "Mama Fox's Farm" also happened to be a place of great sentimental value.
Weston, the groom, grew up visiting the farm as a child. His grandmother (affectionately known as "Granna) was born and raised there making it the perfect location for this Tennessee backyard farm wedding. Filled with unforgettable rustic details and photographed beautifully by Justin Wright. You can see so much more in the full gallery by clicking here.
We know you are eying Daley's vintage wedding dress. You must read on to find out where it came from. Hint hint it just might be her mother's.

From the Bride on wearing her mother's wedding dress.

My sister and I snuck away to our mom's closet to find her wedding dress. I had wanted to try it on just out of curiosity. My sister helped me get it on, and to my surprise it actually fit. I remember the moment stepping in front of the mirror and my sister and I both just went silent. It just felt right. I knew I wanted to wear it someday. Little did I know, Weston was planning to propose the next day!

I took the dress back with me to Nashville, where the incredibly talented De Neal De Angelo of Carrington's Couture Alterations helped us update it a little. It was so special to me to wear my mom's dress. It was just another unique detail of our wedding that made the day absolutely magical. It was also my way of honoring my parents' 34-year marriage (and counting!).

From the Bride on finding wedding vendors for a rural wedding:

We initially thought finding vendors in such a rural location would be a challenge, but the vendors we ended up finding were amazing and treated us like family. We chose to get married in front of the "old barn," as Granna calls it. Rickey from Ode Floral artistry created a beautiful honeysuckle wreath for the barn that served as the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. All of the flowers were stunning (and local!).
