Tip 1:
With hours spent dreaming and preparing for venue, it’s time to show it off.  It’s important to get to know your venue and play around with different locations and photos prior to your wedding photos have a good time and decide what background you’re looking for.

Tip 2:
Whether you’ve hired a professional make up artist or have your maid of honor helping you on your special day, it’s important to know which make-up to use. Not all make up is “Flash Photo Safe” and when choosing a foundation keep an eye out for one that is HD ready meaning there is no sunscreen or high oil content in the product. This keeps the flash from bouncing off your face!

Tip 3:
Always take into consideration the climate. For Ian and Megan’s photoshoot we dealt with freezing temperatures, which made getting cozy easy. We loaded up with the essentials; blankets, hand- warmers, a white bed sheet to protect the bottom of Megan’s stunning Lillian West dress, and killer playlist and of course HOT CIDER!

Tip 4:
These photos are going to last you a lifetime, so ask yourself “how would I like to be remembered?” The best thing to do is come prepared with different styles, poses, and looks. By Familiarizing yourself with these things you will inspire both you and your photographer and create your perfect wedding night.
