Texas Wedding with a Unique Pom Pom Wall

Share

Just hitched wedding backdrop

Like every true wedding devotee, we love a stand out element at a wedding. Whether it be an insane dessert table, a couture wedding gown, or a wedding day pom pom wall. We are suckers for that wow factor. Rachel and Collin definitely delivered with their, “just hitched,” pom pom wall. Of course it was hand-made by Rachel and her bridal party. In fact, all the details at the wedding were all made by family, friends and the bride.
You can see more pictures of the wall and this Texas wedding in the full gallery. All captured by Texas wedding photographer Jennefer Wilson.

Colorful wedding bouquet with roses, succulents, and greenery

From Jennefer Wilson

I am absolutely in love with the way this couple incorporated a little bit of themselves in to every single detail of their wedding. From their florals, to their vows and even to their song choice, every single piece of their wedding pointed directly to who they are. I love the way each visual detail was obviously beautiful and then the more you began to study it, you would notice touches of masculinity. Her bouquet was filled with beautiful peonies and garden roses and then had billy balls and sharp edged succulents to bring in some unexpected charm and the beautiful garland behind the cakes was laced with a more masculine driftwood. The brides beautiful, yet understated dress was a nod to her personality and I love how the bridesmaids dresses complimented hers in texture and flow.

The young and hip style of the groomsman is reflected in their wardrobe. Volcom khakis, suspenders and gingham shirts which paired perfectly to Collins well fitted Express suit. Rustic style boutonniere with tiny succulents wrapped in twine to finish off these stylish groomsman.

Rachel and Collin chose to go a less traditional route by not choosing a wedding cake and opting for scrumptious hand held desserts, because the last thing Rachael and Collin are is traditional.
