Mini Destination & Dress Love
From the Bride: I always thought I would get married at Mama’s Fish house in Maui, but Marc and I wanted to celebrate with as many loved ones as possible. So we made it a “Mini Destination” Wedding. Temecula is a nice lil’ getaway from our busy LA life.
Somehow all the things we loved came together so perfectly. I loved loved loved my gown… It was Vera Wang and I remember finding it and being so giddy!
Friends Incorporated
I really loved that our wedding incorporated our friends & the things we love. Our close friends shared their talents- Camille & Christian sang at our wedding & Dede officiated. It really personalized the day for us.
My favorite moment of Our day was when I arrived at the altar… I immediately tried to kiss my groom. OOPS!
Color Palette Challenge
My color palette changed about halfway through planning. I was bombarded with so many opinions that I settled on blush, but mint & navy blue had always been a love of mine. So I scrapped the blush palette and went with mint, navy, grey & coral.
LOVEFEST
I mulled over several different feels for our day, when I came across a LOVEFEST. I then found these invites from Something Kinda Cute that tied it all together and I immediately knew we were going to have a LOVEFEST. I didn’t quite know what that was going to look like yet, but we added in Geometric shapes and just basically every detail that was true to us.
Sweet Treats & Sweet Moments
Some of my favorite details: our Hexagon backdrop for our donut bar. The miniature chair cake toppers from “UP”, our Star Wars inspired guestbook poster, the gorgeous draping flowers on our arch & The sweetheart table that we worked with Madam Palooza to create.
Our cake is from Momofuku Milk Bar in NYC, which is where most of our Love Story unfolded. We surrounded it with donuts from our local donut shop- SK Donuts
