From Blink of an Eye Photography:Katie and John's New Orleans destination wedding was one to remember! Family and friends traveled in from all over the country to take part. The wedding day started with yoga to relax the bride for her big day.

Two months before the wedding, Katie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and began a steroid treatments to regain her vision and help her be able to walk down the aisle. The rest of the day began to pick up as we headed to City Park for the first look!

After photos we headed to the ceremony at the lovely Hermann Grim House. The ceremony took place outside where guests were greeted with lemonade and fans to keep cool in the warm Louisiana sun. Katie's sister officiated the ceremony while her grandmother played the piano, it was truly a family affair. The couple exchanged heart felt vows that they had written to each other and sealed the deal with a kiss!

Guests were then welcomed to the streets of the French Quarter by Kinfolk Brass Band to lead them down Bourbon Street to the reception at Café Amelie.

The bride and groom along with their weddings guests danced down the streets waving handmade ribbon wands and waving to passerby's on the sidewalk.

From Blink of an Eye Photography:Now that the celebration was in full swing everyone headed into the reception and feasted on southern favorites like grits and cajun chicken. The courtyard was filled with sweet details from flowers brought all the way from the couple's hometown of Columbus, Ohio to the vintage handkerchief escort cards. Katie and John made a special playlist for the reception that included some of their favorite songs. The night ended with a sparkler exit after a champagne toast!
