Mismatched Bridesmaid Dresses

How much did you love Micheal and Shannon’s diy vintage backyard wedding? We thought it was way cute, and especially love the mismatched bridesmaid dresses in attention-grabbing shades of purple. We gathered a few of our favorite purple dresses and shoes that you’re sure to love.

We still stand by the theory that although the dresses and shoes may be mismatched, you should have a few coordinating pieces that tie your wedding party together. Whether it be an amethyst bracelet, like the one above from lauren handler designs, or a decadent wedding clip like the one above from Eternal Eden Bridal.  Be sure they all have the same bridal bouquet, we love the one above from Floral Sunshine. You can actually see the entire bouquet recipe here. Photographed by Sara Gray Photography

I love the idea of mismatching bridesmaids dresses. It keeps your wedding from looking too matchy, matchy. Thanks for the inspirational wedding ideas!! xx. Lou.

I love the idea of mismatched bridsmaid dresses–but would it be too much to mis match the groomsmen too? Or should the groomsmen where identical outfits? I’m worried too much mismatch will clash or that half mismatch and half uniform might look weird. Any thoughts?
