Vera Wang Bridal Fall 2012

Vera Wang Bridal Fall 2012

Would you wear a black or cream wedding gown? Well… the Vera Wang Bridal Fall 2012 is black and cream all over. Deconstructed chiffon, silk, tulle and organza strolled down the runway in a surprising color palette. Solid black, cream and black and pure nude. Incredibly interesting and will for sure be the talk of the town.

Quite confident that all of us would slip into anything Vera Wang. Lavender, lime green or even black for that matter. Want to see more? Visit the full collection by clicking here.

To me the black one just seems like a great evening gown… I just don’t see wedding?? Unless you had a really neat Halloween themed wedding, totally full out fun, then it’d be PERFECT!

  2. This is definitely thinking outside the box! And I agree that Vera can pretty much do whatever she wants. Plus, I think it’s fun to mix things up!

I like it – bet it would look fab in a very rich red.

Stunning! Wedding dresses were not always white. The marriage of Queen Victoria to her cousin Albert of Saxe- Coburg in 1840 has had more influence on weddings than any other. Queen Victoria put the wheels in motion by marrying in white. Though brides continued to wed in gowns of different colors, white was now set as the color of choice for weddings and has continued ever since. Time for a change?

  5. I would definitely wear a black or cream wedding gown if it looks like one of these…

  6. I agree, Kristine. Vera is so established and loved that she’s able to branch out and create an amazing, out-of-the-box collection like this. Lucky for us!

I love the dresses, and think the models are beautiful, of course, but I don’t think it helps that they are styled like their in a scary movie…

I love the dresses and am in no ways a white wedding traditionalist but they’re not screaming ‘my big speacial day’ or even just a hint of ‘happiness’ … would love to wear them, just not to my wedding. Or maybe it’s the models, would it kill them to crack a smile?

  9. I love the black dress; it has a gorgeous shape to it. I think the creams would look great on someone with a deep or medium skin tone. I personally wanted a jewel tone or red wedding dress (like an amazing evening gown) but my hubby said he really wanted me to wear white! Apparently, men dream about what their wedding will look like too.
