Share

Romantic scene with a cake, flowers, and the word LOVE

Do It Yourself, or DIY, wedding projects allow you to create your own personalized favors and touches that can be applied in any way you can imagine on your special day, for a shower or party. All you need are some basic items and a little creativity.
This Do It Yourself Valentines Day Centerpiece is for all of you who will be making a romantic dinner at home this Valentines Day. Pastel candy hearts hug a bouquet of fresh tulips. Pairing festive candy with flowers in the same color family brings an air of romance. What could be sweeter? Plus, it is over-the-top adorable. See other do-it-yourself wedding projects.

Step 1: Place a vase inside another that’s taller and at least 1 inch wider. Fill the gap between vases with sweetheart candies. Fill small vase halfway with water.

Step 2: Snip stems of tulips with a sharp knife.
Step 3: Set bouquet inside smaller vase. Add more water if necessary. This tulip arrangement will last 5 to 7 days.
