All this colorful fiesta magic took place at The Barn at Swallows Eve. There are multiple distinct event areas on 35 acres of land, many of which can include fireplaces, water fountains, pergolas, and or an open-air chapel. This is the event space for a fiesta-themed wedding.

If you’d like to create something like this for yourself, you will need the below items. You will then, artistically drape your garland and the crepe paper around your copper ceremony backdrop. You can find a copper backdrop like this one at Bobs General Store.

DIY FAUX CACTUS
Escort Card DISPLAY
How smart is this cactus escort card frame? Which was beautifully created by Cottonwood Print. We are so incredibly lucky that they shared with us how to do this fantastic DIY project, wondering how the leaves look so perfect? They are from a pulled apart faux cactus plant. Each guest’s name was written on a cactus pad with a white acrylic paint pen and the table number.
You could use their same concept with a faux palm leaf, artificial maple leaf, faux turtle leaf, or buy a variety of tropical palm leaves from Amazon.
We love how they brightened the display by scattering bright florals throughout the frame.

Cottonwood Print created menu cards and drink menus that incorporated both Spanish and English. The maracas were personalized with each guest’s name that served as both a place card for guests and a take-home favor. Guests could use the maracas as their send-off item at the end of the night.

Mexican Michelada
Who doesn’t love a signature cocktail? To continue with the fiesta theme, offer guests a Mexican Michelada and a Pineapple Mojito. I’d want one of each. Don’t worry, we found out how to make both, just in case you want to try one for yourself.
Ingredients
Course Sea Salt /Chili Powder
Limes
Clamato Juice
Worcestershire Sauce
Soy Sauce
Hot Sauce or Tabasco
Mexican Lager Beer
Directions
Mix 2 TBS. of Sea Salt and 3/4 TSP. Chili Powder on a plate for your spicy rim
Run a lime around the edge of an ice-cold glass and dip into your salt mixture
Fill glass 2/3 of ice
Add 2 drops of Worcestershire sauce
Add 2 drops of Soy Sauce
Add 2 drops of Hot Sauce
Top with your favorite dark Mexican Lager
Garnish With A Lime
MAKE A Pitcher of
Easy Pineapple Mojitos
Ingredients
Mint Leaves
3 Limes
Simple Syrup (
you can just buy it in the bottle)
Rum
Club Soda
Pineapple Juice
Pineapple chunks (buy already precut)
Directions
Place 3/4 cup of mint leaves in the bottom of your pitcher without the stems and muddle
Squeeze the juice out of 3 limes
Add in 1 cup of Simple Syrup
Add in 2 cups of Club Soda
Pour the mixture over ice and toss in a few mint leaves and pineapple chunks
