10 unique denver venues from train stations to chic lofts
Denver has always been a vacay destination, but now, couples are flocking to the “Mile High City” to tie the knot. And with venues like these, it’s easy to see why. 1. union station
Known as “The Crown Jewel of Denver”, Union Station is one of the most unique wedding venues we’ve ever seen. Union Station first opened in 1881 and though it has been revitalized over the years, it still maintains all of the charm and intrigue of its historic architecture. This landmark is now a vibrant destination for gathering, dining, imbibing, shopping, traveling, and yes, you can even stay there too at their luxe on-site lodging–The Crawford Hotel. We always say these are the qualities that couples should look for in a wedding venue: good bones, ease of access for you and your guests, and good food and drink…and this venue in the heart of Denver has it all! Oh, and it’s open 24/7, 365 so the party never has to end.

During the day, natural light pours in through the historic arched windows of Union Station and into Denver’s most glamorous hideouts, The Cooper Lounge. By night, you and your guests can take in the twinkling lights of downtown Denver as you sip high-end cocktails and enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience. This stunning space boasts sky-high ceilings, and a fusion of modern metallics and subtle nods to the interior’s inspiration, elegant locomotives like The Orient Express and California Zephyr trains. 4. grant-humphreys mansion
Make all of your wildest Bridgerton dreams a reality at this stunning estate in Denver’s Quality Hill neighborhood. Towering pillars, lush gardens, grand staircases, ornate wallpaper, and, of course, a ballroom–Grant-Humpreys Mansion has it all! With room for up to 200 guests, this 1902 Beaux-Arts mansion is the romantic fairytale venue you’ve been searching for. 5. asterisk
This cool loft-style venue in Denver is perfect for a chic modern celebration. Transform the indoor space with artful floral installations for the ceremony and lush lounge setups for the reception. 6. moss denver
This repurposed warehouse venue boasts one of the coolest live murals we’ve ever seen–a literal moss wall (hence the name)! The warm brick interior and polished cement floors give the space an effortlessly cool vibe. Whether you’re going for industrial chic or boho, this versatile venue can fit just about any vibe.
7. the ramble hotel
Mid-century mod design meets industry at The Ramble Hotel, located in Denver’s River North Art District (RiNo). What were once historic warehouses and factories are now home to some of the area's coolest jazz bars, restaurants, breweries, art galleries, and real working studios. For a creative couple (and their crew) there really is no better destination. The moody slate blue walls and clean brass fixtures of The Ramble Hotel are a total vibe and just a tour of this place will have you saying, “Wish You Were Here”.
8. bigsby's folly winery
If you’re just looking to show your guests a good time in a cool space with some great wine…this is your dream wedding venue! Bigsby’s Folly Winery is a real-working winery in a lovingly rehabbed historic brick building. You and your guests can enjoy a tour of the facilities (with wine tasting) before sitting down to one of the best meals Denver has to offer, then send your guests off with a bottle of wine to say thank you. Sounds pretty perfect, right?
9. 11th avenue hostel

What was once a factory at the center of Denver’s booming steel industry, this historic brick building has been lovingly restored and repurposed into one of the city’s premier event spaces. The soaring ceilings that once used to house giant pieces of naval ships are now graced by Edison light chandeliers. And the multi-level layout makes it perfect for dining and dancing the night away.
