5 Reasons Firefly Gardens Needs to Be On Your Go-See List

One of the best parts about being newly engaged is all the fun events you can start RSVP-ing to. It’s like a rite of passage for all new brides-to-be to sign up for a few seasonal bridal shows - to get their feet wet in the wedding planning arena and start embracing all the perks and privileges that come with fiancée-hood. And luckily for any Dallas-Ft. Worth soon-to-be weds, we happen to know about an Open House that is poised to be one heck of a time!! Firefly Gardens, a private eight-acre event space that can only be described as enchanted, is having its first Open House on March 31st and we wish we could be flies on the wall for it all!

So, here are a few secrets about Firefly Gardens.

And they’re not really secrets, as much as they’re secret weapons about the space. But first, a little from the owners.

“Firefly Gardens is unique, because it offers so much. With its convenient location, all-white structure, and breathtaking views, you feel like you are country, but yet, you’re so close to the Metroplex. At Firefly Gardens, we do one event a day, so each client receives the attention they deserve.”

That’s exactly how this bride felt she was treated.

“The owners of Firefly Gardens will treat you like family all while being extremely professional. They helped make my wedding everything I dreamed of and more. The venue itself is well maintained and is sure to wow all of your guests and vendors. My wedding decorator said it best when she said "this place looks and smells amazing." Throughout the whole process, they are very attentive, courteous, and quick to respond to any questions. On the day of, they go above and beyond to make sure everything is going as planned. Choosing Firefly Gardens was one of the best decisions I could have made during the wedding planning process! YOU ALL ARE AMAZING!” ~ a former bride who could only say the best [about this spot].

Now back to those secret weapons.

The venue is perfectly Americana.

From its red barn setting to its all-white reception space, the only thing missing from this portrait of patriot America is your #somethingblue. Firefly Gardens offers three elegant and affordable rental options to choose from, and no matter which you choose, you can be sure you’re signing on for an exquisite ambiance.

Their premium, all-white hall accommodates up to 250 guests. It includes bride and groom suites with full bathrooms, three seven-foot chandeliers, a breathtaking solid back wall of windows that overlooks pristine acreage, and so much more.

Their rustic red barn is located under towering oak trees and has just as much chic (with the chandelier) to match its charm. It's quintessential barn-wedding wow.

Their classic two-story home with a pool is impressively-elegant and intimate and can accommodate up to 40 guests for ceremonies and receptions.

The white aesthetic is aisle perfect.

We’ve said it once and we’ll say it 10000 times over: white will never go out of style for weddings. And this venue is punctuated by the perfect color palette. From the pergola to the bridge over the limestone creek, white-washed brick rocking the reception hall, to its triangular roof peaks that pierce the white sky, the white touches are everything and if you take a peek at their Instagram feed, you’ll understand why.

The bridal suites are immaculate.

The vows and the party to follow are the favorite things about a wedding, but if your getting ready/morning photos looked like this, you might not want to rush hauling it to the altar. The white walls, the platinum mirror, and the reflection of a voyeur-worthy vanity make the bridal suite better-than beautiful. Any photographer would have a field day here with effortlessly-draped gowns, adorable hangers, shoes of every height and style.

There's a swing.

Mic drop. Any time we see a venue with a swing, our hearts explode. It’s a fantastic prop for brides to use during their bridal portraits - because the trains on their dresses just rise (literally and figuratively) to the occasion. It’s also a great play for grooms and their guys to get in on some fun before the ceremony. And even more amazing - each wedding package at FFG comes complete with a 1-hour engagement or bridal photo session (couple responsible for bringing their photographer), so how about taking some photos on the swing pre-ring(s), and then showing them off at the big event?

The open house is coming up fast!

Remember what we said about all brides needing to RSVP to at least one of these in the wake of their engagement? Well, Firefly Gardens’ event on Sunday, March 31st, will be bringing together the cream of the crop vendors+wedding professionals for a late afternoon of ALL the inspiration. The family-owned, family-run wedding favorite will be serving appetizers and drinks from 2-5pm, so you might just want to delay Sunday brunch for an early Sunday dinner. One that includes lots of champagne! RSVP before 3/11 to save your spot!
