Mikaella Fall 2020 Collection

TORONTO, ON – Lights! Camera! Action! Mikaella’s Fall 2020 Collection is ready for its close up. Brides looking to make a dramatic entrance on their wedding day will have no trouble finding the perfect look this season. Removable pieces, eye-catching bows, and creative fabric layering make each style from this collection a show stopper.

Mikaella’s newest collection is overflowing with charming vintage inspired gowns that have been enhanced with modern additions. Style 2301 gets taken up a notch with a removable flared Tulle overskirt. This overskirt opens up in the front to reveal a form fitting lace skirt underneath – perfect for the bride who is looking to release her inner diva! Every Mikaella overskirt is available separately too, and our Crêpe Style 2305 proves that this overskirt can add a little pizzazz to any fitted gown, no matter what fabric or neckline it has.

Fall 2020 brings some serious back appeal to the collection. The oversized bows on the backs of Styles 2306 and 2309 are not only super gorgeous but they share a message of love – literally! Rhinestone “Love” appliqués have been added for that extra personal touch. Brides hoping for even more personalization are in luck this season. Style 2310 is shown with the expression “Happily Ever After” embroidered onto the train of this Organza skirt, but this can also be customized with a phrase chosen by the bride. Veil Styles VM493C and VM494C were designed with personalization in mind. VM493C has “Always & Forever” embroidered on the edge (which can also be customized), and VM494C will be embroidered with the happy couple’s first names.

Elegant bridal pantsuit with train and lace back detail

This season’s use of mixed textures and layered fabrics demonstrates the creativity of our design team. Style 2300’s sheer bodice layers sparkling Sequin Lace over delicate Chantilly, which creates a remarkable contrast. Style 2313 gives the same effect without the subtle shimmer, replacing Sequin Lace with a distinct Guipure Lace pattern. The Guipure Lace appliqués on the bodice of Style 2311 are amplified by 3D Organza floral accents, making for a beautiful finishing touch to this Duchesse Satin ball gown. Style 2315 shows that you don’t necessarily need to mix different fabrics to achieve compelling layers; the sheer Striped Organza on this skirt folds over itself this way and that for added intrigue. Our premiere pantsuit, Style 2304, combines a separate Sequin lace bodice, straight legged Crêpe pants, and a removable Organa train into one brilliant bridal look.
