There’s something so beautiful and refreshing about a flawless manicure! Regardless of whether you’re the bride, a bridesmaid, or maid of honor at any upcoming events your nails deserve to look absolutely stunning.

Maybe you’re a pro at getting your nails to look like heaven on earth without any help, but if you’re human like the rest of us a little advice might be in order. Ensure that your wedding nails will be in tip top shape with these 4 simple and easy tips! Oh, and if you’re looking for some nail design inspiration we have a whopping 100 of them right this way!

Tip #1 : Chilly Ice Water Bath

Waiting for nail polish to dry is often the worst part of painting your nails. It takes forever and if your senses aren’t honed in to every microscopic threat to your wet polish you end up with smudges, smears, gouges, need I go on? Luckily there’s a quick and easy (albeit a little chilly) solution! After painting your nails let them air dry for a few minutes then dunk them in a bowl of ice water. They’ll be dry in no time! Oh the irony. Also, if you’re making a nail day of it with all your besties you can pretty things up by adding flower petals to your ice cubes!

Tip #2 : Glue Base

OK so this next tip sounds a bit strange but you really should give it a try! Glitter nail polish can be quite the little witch to get off your nails; stubborn is an understatement.
However, if you apply a coat of Elmer’s Glue to your nail first then you end up with an easily peel-able manicure.

Tip #3 : Seal The Tips

Typically your nails start chipping at the tips first. To give your nails a fighting chance at lasting longer make sure to run your top coat nail polish not only over the entire nail but also along the edge of the tip.

This will help seal up your nail and prevent those darn chips for a little bit longer.

Tip #4 : Tiny Brush Is Your Best Friend

If you’re like me you almost never get those perfect crisp lines along your cuticles in your first go. There are a couple different ways to go about fixing any little errors you make during the polish application. First you can apply lotion to your hands (excluding the nails) to help the polish lift off your skin easier. Even better than that they make specific solutions that you can paint around your nail and then peel off after the polish has been painted on. Example here. Lastly, use a tiny brush dipped on nail polish remover to clean up the edges for perfect nails every time!
