Pick a focal area of your reception (think head table or dance floor) and create a design element that draws the eye and is a show stopper! This can be focused on lighting, florals, rentals, or a mix of all three! If you create a main focal piece, it will be the first thing guests see to create a wow-factor, and the rest of the design can still flow but be done on a smaller scale (and to help with budget).
Opt for specialty linen

Opt for specialty linen as a way to tie in a different color or texture within your color palette. This will create a special touch and will add a layer of dimension to your overall design.
