Today is Classic Friday on my Kate Parker Wedding and we thought we would share a few images that really capture the “classic” wedding essence on wedding chicks! A wedding is comprised of many elements, which is why it is sometimes hard to pin down an entirely classic wedding. We thought it would be fun to pull out different elements of a wedding, like jewelry and cakes, in order to describe what makes them classic. Why is this classic? A long veil is a classic accessory and this strapless, beaded dress is a perfect example of a classic wedding dress; simple and clean.

Why is this classic? A white wedding cake is almost as classic as you can get and by adding the white roses you get a more elegant feel while still keeping the simple and classic look.
