The day we shot this editorial was actually the first of many very, very rainy days here in Toronto. If you stepped outside for a second, you'd have been soaked through. Nonetheless, we did our best to bring out the warm and brightness of those first days of spring. This wedding editorial is inspired by the change of seasons - any season really. It's bright, romantic, and classic, filled with rustic oranges on bright whites, greys, and faded blues. Evoking feelings of youth, new beginnings, cleanliness. Like a cool breath of fresh air! There are gorgeous pops of colours everywhere - from the model's stunning orange hair, right down to the unconventional blue gown by local designer Le Win of Wins Design - that are evened out by the clean slate of a light-filled, airy, white room. Meanwhile, texture draws the eyes in everywhere. Delicate beading, tulle, a stunning fine-art bouquet, and my favourite: the model's freckles, round out the scene so that simplicity can take over for the rest.
