This bold and boisterous wedding inspiration shoot at DCO Denver is a maximalist’s dream come to life with bold color blocking, a mix of modern and retro details, and a playground for all color-obsessed couples to frolic in. Meant to be a place of creative connection and a chance for all vendors to dare to be bold, this shoot does just that. Planned with the help of White Pine Designs and captured on camera by Brenna Skattebo, this inspo brings details to life in a way fun and unique way that we promise you’ve never imagined before.

The vision: bold and boisterous
The ceremony was the kick starter that in a real wedding application, would be a serene yet stylish start for a couple who is unapologetically in love thanks to a rainbow of florals by Provision Florals.
The fashion: colorful heels
The real star of the show was a more subtle one—these Betsy Johnson heels fit for a bride who loves the louder details of life.
The seating chart: intentional whimsy
The seating chart played with pops of color and texture with raised lettering, circular table assignments set on a rectangular backdrop, and striped ribbons curled in a variety of lengths. A casual yet elegant floral arrangement with standout stems added to the whimsy of the setup.
The reception: funky and mismatched
The reception details were funky and mismatched upon first glance, but a keen eye for detail knows that each element reflects the others. The butterflies on the name cards were a direct call to the print of the table linen. The pinstriped menu ribbon was a harkening back to the ribbon wrapped around the bridal bouquet. The glassware was pleated to perfection–the list goes on and on.
The cake: rectangular rainbow
One of the most unique elements of the shoot was the single-tier, rectangular cake from Flick of the Whisk that featured 70’s-inspired colorful icing designs and plenty of single stem florals.
