Traditional Jewish Wedding In Tel Aviv Israel

For those who haven't yet heard the term, encore bride or groom - it's someone who has made a previous trip down the aisle. Ironically enough, our next couple both previously made that trip down the aisle. So, Shay and Karine are quite grateful to have found true love.
Surrounded by their close family and friends, they had an unique traditional wedding at an old textile factory turned furniture gallery/venue in Tel Aviv Israel. Karine goes into way more detail on their special day and as always you can see more photos in the full gallery here. All photographed by Florida wedding photographer Cheryl Joy Miner.

From The Bride:It was a unique traditional Jewish wedding with 80 people and the venue was in an old textile warehouse turned into an upscale furniture gallery. The Gallery has a gravel and cement paved open garden where the venue was held.

The pre-ceremony (shmorg) was in one part of the warehouse with a really cool urban feel, with vintage and urban art mixed with some modern elements. You can see a huge canvas of Aretha Franklin, and very cool furniture that is sold in the store!

This is the second wedding for both of us and we really found true love. So we asked the guests to give advice - second times a charm ;) we thought it was funny. Also the breaking of the glass song was "oops i did it again" - gotta have humor.

At the shmorg we had cocktails, an open bar, cigar and self service stations too. We also had lots of candies, marmalade, jelly beans, and marshmallows all in the wedding colors.

The chuppah was held by 4 friends of the groom throughout the entire ceremony. And the kippah on the grooms head was crocheted by none other than myself! It is customary in Jewish weddings that the bride walk around the groom 7 times before the ceremony begins, and I lost count in the middle! Shay also surprised me by choosing to speak about "second chances" and that in business they don't exist but in life he was really lucky - awww..
