For Isabel and Taylor, Myopia Hunt Club wasn’t simply a beautiful place to celebrate – it was home. Isabel grew up on the property, and years later, Taylor proposed there at sunset. Returning to exchange vows in the very place where so many of their memories were made transformed the celebration into a beautiful full-circle moment.
The colors that filled the sky during that unforgettable proposal became the inspiration for an equally meaningful wedding day designed with Marissa Pedone Events and photographed by Samantha Melanson Photography.

A sunset-inspired wedding design
Rather than choosing a single wedding color, Isabel and Taylor embraced the full spectrum of the sunset that had become part of their story.

The custom invitation suite from Kristen Sardini Design introduced the palette with a beautifully illustrated sunset envelope liner, offering guests their first glimpse into the celebration’s design.

A horse and hound escort

The ceremony balanced heartfelt emotion with unexpected moments that perfectly reflected the couple’s personalities.

Guests were greeted by one unforgettable surprise as the officiant made his entrance on a motorcycle before leading a ceremony filled with warmth and sincerity. Following the vows, one of Myopia Hunt Club’s most cherished traditions came to life as the club’s iconic hounds and riders on horseback escorted guests to cocktail hour, celebrating the venue’s rich equestrian heritage in spectacular fashion.

Color-blocked reception design
The colorful reception proved that bold design can still feel timeless when every choice has meaning.

Inside the reception, the concept came fully to life through a striking color-blocked layout, where each table featured its own distinct color story with coordinating linens, florals by Blush and Bloom Floral Design, candles, and paper goods.

Each thoughtfully styled table became its own visual moment while contributing to a cohesive overall design. The layered palette created movement throughout the space without overwhelming it, allowing guests to discover new details everywhere they looked.

At the center of the room, the head table united every hue into one breathtaking installation, a symbolic reflection of the family, friendships, and communities that had come together to celebrate the couple’s marriage.

The result was sophisticated, joyful, and unmistakably personal – a fresh take on New England wedding design that felt destined to inspire couples for years to come.

Detail we love: handwritten notes for each guest
The most memorable elements weren’t necessarily the largest – they were the ones guests experienced personally.

Each guest discovered a handwritten letter from Isabel and Taylor waiting at the escort display, a heartfelt welcome that immediately set the tone for the evening. Personalized menu cards reflected every individual’s entrée selection, while embroidered cocktail napkins featuring the couple’s custom crest became keepsakes guests could bring home.

Custom sticker dispensers & venue-inspired artwork
Even the playful details carried meaning. Custom sticker dispensers featured charming illustrations of the couple’s beloved dog alongside artwork inspired by Myopia Hunt Club, adding moments of delight throughout the celebration.

A choreographed dance from the Father of the Groom
As the evening continued, another surprise had everyone on their feet. The Father of the Groom stunned guests with a choreographed dance alongside the groomsmen, instantly filling the dance floor and setting the tone for a celebration that never slowed down. Laughter, music, and joyful energy carried the evening late into the night, creating memories that guests will undoubtedly talk about for years to come.

A wedding that felt like home
Every part of Isabel and Taylor’s wedding reflected who they are, not only through beautiful design but through meaningful experiences shared with the people they love most.

From sunset-inspired color blocking and handwritten letters to beloved family traditions and playful personal touches, every detail had a purpose. The result was a celebration that felt elegant without being overly formal, vibrant without feeling trendy, and deeply personal from beginning to end.
