Get ready! Bryn & Adam’s seaside weekend celebration is giving us all the feels, and we’re stoked to share all the details from this gorgeous day styled by Simply by Tamara Nicole at the lovely Semiahmoo Resort in the great Pacific North West.
They said their “I do’s” right on the dock with a gorgeous ocean backdrop, then had a beautiful tent reception with boho-chic florals, twinkle lights, and the cheesiest cheese wedding cake with custom toppers. A fun wedding weekend
From Simply by Tamara Nicole: Bryn and Adam’s Wedding was SO much fun, for many different reasons. They had some super fun quirks that we sprinkled throughout the wedding planning, and wedding day and decor which made it SO them and fun for the guests. I’m ALL about weddings being fun and about the couple, and theirs sure was! They wanted a fun “destination” for their families to come and spend a weekend with them, as neither side were from Seattle- so they could showcase the PNW in all of it’s glory. They chose Semiahmoo Resort, a stunning backdrop on the border of Canada, 2 hours from Seattle. They had a weekend planned of all kinds of events for their guests, including morning yoga on the dock, a BBQ with bonfires, and so much more. When guests arrived to the hotel to check in, they were greeted with a fun door hanger (created by The Fancy Cat Studio) with the weekend itinerary and some funny info for them.
Boho CHIC FLORALS
For flowers Bryn wanted “Boho Chic” and it was SO fun to play with colors and textures to match her vibe that she wanted. Adding King Protea to her bouquet and the circle arch was a fave of mine, and playing with all of the “bleached” and dyed greenery was a blast and a fun creative challenge. We just wanted a lot of texture everywhere.

For the ceremony, The Fancy Cat Studio made cute little labels for the vials that we filled with greenery and various petals for the guests to toss after the kiss. Bryn and Adam had their photos from childhood etc down the aisle, which was so sweet! The Fancy Cat Studio also created ALL of the signage, ceremony seating tags, table numbers, menus, and even did a hand drawn sketch of their pup (Grizzly) to put on golf foil napkins. Since Grizzly couldn’t make the wedding, we added fun pops for him. They also had the cutest little furry figurine of Grizzly on their cake of cheese! From Etsy, was adorable!
Words From the Bride
Being out on the dock for pictures and seeing how our boho chic PNW vision came to life was really emotional for me – the setting, the flowers, the arch, the tent draped with greenery and lights – I had a major Elle Woods moment when I wanted to scream “ME!!!”
My cheese cake was by far one of a my favorite elements! All my dairy dreams came true that day!! Driving off in the golf cart to the afterparty with Adam after the reception. We had a nice private moment to ourselves to just bask in all the love and cheese we got spoiled with.
