Sweet Skating Engagement Session on the Ottawa Canal

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Natasha and Dom, who are finally engaged after being together for ten years!
Being from Ottawa, Canada, they really wanted something that reflected the city, and what better way to do that than to have a shoot on the historic Rideau Canal. The Rideau Canal is the worlds largest skating rink (no seriously, it is!).
We also stopped along the way to enjoy a BeaverTail, another iconic “Ottawa” symbol. A BeaverTail is a delicious pastry dough that is deep fried and served with many different toppings. The wonderful gentleman in the booth even made the BeaverTail into the shape of a heart! So sweet.
