Avoid Online Dress Shopping

From the Bride: I bought three wedding dresses all online and on sale. I should have waited and not purchased the first two online. I ended up wearing one to the rehearsal dinner with dressed-down sandals and a belt. Wearing two dresses over the weekend was a blast, and I really felt like the bride. However, I recommend trying on wedding dresses in person – don’t order online! Some of the details in this wedding are just too cute! We love the bow tie clad corgi, the fun calligraphy signage and of course their burlap and lace runner. It may be hard to duplicate the corgi but you can definitely steal the other two ideas. Create your own calligraphy (or hire a pro if that’s not really your thing) and we gave you all the materials needed to create your own monogrammed runner. Now go forth and be crafty!

Wisconsin Meets Dirty Dancing

From Carly McCray Photography: The sweet tented ceremony included her grandmother’s bow-tied corgi escorting their flower girl down the aisle! Rustic invitations included a hand-painted watercolor map, painted by the bride herself. Charming wooden hand-painted signs with a Southern touch honored Henry’s family heritage and welcoming guests to pick a seat, not a side (y’all)!

Signature Desserts

The tent overflowed with custom touches and sentimental details, including the bride and groom’s favorite ice cream flavors as the signature dessert for the cake and ice cream buffet, gold-dipped mason jars, handmade signs, milk-glass vases filled with hydrangeas, and to top it all off, a floral chandelier hung above the sweetheart table.

Cool Seat Signs & Hot Dance Moves

We can’t get enough of these adorable “Throw back” bride and groom seat signs. Stud Muffin! These truly show the fun loving personalities of Jillian and Henry.

Being a professional dancer, Jillian’s first dance moves did not disappoint! The bride and groom’s first dance was to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,’ and Jillian surprised Henry later in the night with an amazing performance by her dance company to Barry White’s “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love.” Everyone went absolutely wild, and it set the tone for the remainder of the night’s party!
