Sonoma Valley Pretty Peach Wedding

One Love Photography

When these two love birds tied the knot it was most important to them that the wedding be peaceful and enchanting, giving guests a taste of the area, with nods to their beloved Chicago, without being over-produced. Having the wedding at Beltane Ranch allowed them to showcase its natural beauty and refinement. Stunning event design from Kaella Lynn Events was the cherry on top, featuring some super cute peach-filled design and decor ideas.
With a wedding this sweet you won't want to miss a single thing! View the full gallery of this pretty peach perfection wedding here, breathtakingly captured by onelove photography.

From the Bride:We decided to have our wedding at Beltane Ranch – despite it being far from home for us and the majority of our guests - because the one thing we knew was that we absolutely wanted to get married outside and Chicago weather was bound to not cooperate. One item we really loved was the candlelit, vintage lounge area where our guests could relax during the evening and fill out postcards for us to read on our honeymoon in lieu of a guestbook. The responses were so special (and hilarious!), and we are now able to keep them in the wooden box with our initials and wedding date carved in to it.

We also both vividly remember the first look, and are so happy we chose to do one. It was so worth it to see each other's faces and have a quiet moment alone. It made us both infinitely more relaxed for the ceremony, and it allowed us to enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests. Plus, it was an excuse to take some time out to pet the horses at Beltane! Perhaps the cutest part of the wedding was having our niece (who, like most babies, occasionally tries to eat flowers and anything else she can get her hands on) carry a peach balloon down the aisle. It was a hit, and you could tell she had so much fun with it.

The main idea was to have the decor elevate, but not overwhelm, the beautiful surroundings of Beltane. We ended up going with soft colors and touches of gold, along with Parisian blue and white striped linens for some interest. The floral arrangements completely blew us away when we saw them. We must say that the decoration we adored the most was the escort card display that was set up in a vintage cubby hole cabinet. Our planner, Kaella Lynn Events, had delicious local peaches sourced from Twin Girl Farms to serve as favors and to serve as escort cards, which was amazing given our lack of great produce in Chicago for most of the year. Also, instead of using table numbers, we opted to use small, gold farm animal figurines to match the setting and our affinity for animals.

We also had a vintage sewing table brought in to set out cake on. It was so lovely with the feel of the history and feel of the property. In terms of advice, I think the best piece of advice I was given was that something will go “wrong” (or may not be exactly as you planned) on the day of the wedding, but if you can accept that fact ahead of time, you can let it go when it happens and enjoy the day much more. Do not fret over the details because in the end, you will probably be the only one that notices what went wrong.

Read on to see some advice from Kaella Lynn Events on how to make your night time wedding a big hit!

1. Lighting. Take advantage of the dark and set the mood with lighting. Increase the amount of candles on the tables, light up pathways so no detail goes unseen and string lights across the dance floor.

2. Music. People become less inhibited and more relaxed after the sun goes down, so take advantage with e a great band or DJ to get everyone, even grandma, on the dance floor.

3. Late night snack. Offer something tasty to re-energize your guests a couple hours after dinner. Whether tray passed by servers in the final hour or handed out as guests depart, your guests will be grateful for a snack to satiate the appetite they've built up from all that dancing.
