Erin and Chris’ wedding took place at two locations. Their traditional Catholic ceremony took place at the San Fernando Mission and their vintage shabby chic reception took place at The Vineyards in Mission Hills. Both locations of Erin and Chris’ wedding were absolutely breathtaking. I was in awe of how majestic the scenery was all throughout the wedding! Can I mention how amazing it was being outside of the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, too!
Erin started her day getting ready at the Posada Royale Hotel & Suites in Simi Valley, CA. We had such a great time capturing all the details of her wedding and my most favorite part was when her florist came to deliver the flowers to her. It was SUCH a sweet moment!
Their traditional Catholic ceremony took place at the San Fernando Mission. I was so taken back by the Spanish architecture in this mission. It took me back to old world Spain. Before the ceremony, Erin and Chris did a non-traditional first look which was really a “first touch”. I was holding back the tears behind my camera.
After their I Do’s, we all headed to The Vineyards in Simi Valley where the festivities were slated to take place, but first we had to do some fun portraits and bridal party pictures!
Details adorned the reception room, all personalized to various favorite items of Erin and Chris’. I love it when couples truly make their details personal. I could really understand who they were without having to have a conversation with them. Their personality was infused everywhere.
