Traveling from their busy life in Southern California, they envisioned having an intimate and romantic countryside destination wedding. The Firefly Gardens in Midlothian, TX was just that.

In keeping with the romantic country charm of the Firefly Gardens, they brought their wedding day to life by incorporating dusty blues, neutral tones and gold accents into their color palette. They chose white and blush blooms that were organically put together that transformed the venue into a fairytale garden. Scroll down to see the beautiful florals made by Katie Bug Florals.

The Bride, Tricia, owns her own stationery shop, Petal + Paperie. She created their lovely wedding invitations using their color palette with dusty blue envelopes, ivory linen paper and gold foiling. Scroll down to see their wedding invitation suite that features an illustration of their venue and a handmade, wooden, Texas magnet to tie in the Texas destination wedding. Love is found in all the little details of their wedding invitations.

All the thoughtful little details carried on into their wedding day which included beautifully styled wooden farmhouse signs, a show stopping bulbed "LOVE" sign to embellish the sweetheart's table and a vintage photo booth camper that fit right in with their country wedding. A favorite of ours was the wood seating chart that was DIY'd by the Bride herself. Keep reading below to see how she made the seating chart.

The Bride chose a simple and modest sheath column dress that was beautifully laced which is a resemblance of her personality. Tricia's dress was from David’s Bridal. Her bridal party wore dusty blue and champagne colored dresses from David’s Bridal and Azazie. The Groom, David, is a country boy at heart. He feels his best when he's wearing jeans and cowboy boots. We dressed up his favorite go to look with a slate blue blazer, Luke Casey cowboy boots and a white long sleeve dress shirt. His Groomsmen matched him and they all wore boutonnières for an elegant finish.

Once of Tricia's and David's most treasured moments from that day was a private last dance they shared while all their guests were gathering outside of the venue to do a sparkler send off. It was the perfect way to take it all in and reflect on their magical wedding day. Scroll down to see the intimate moment between the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Mills. All their favorite moments were captured by the talented Megan Kay Photography and Luke Gaie Films. Their wedding day went off without a hitch with the help of their wedding planner, Events by Jade. There was romance, charm and so much love to go around. The wedding day was a true reflection of David and Tricia. The day was fleeting, but the memories will live on forever.
