All in the middle of the bustling city of Austin, Texas, this cute couple found a beautifully serene venue that was the perfect fit for their relaxed and natural wedding. Laguna Gloria venue
It was a perfect Austin spring day. White puffy clouds dotted a blue sky and the sun shone warm but not hot – just enough to feel good. Ally and Matt’s natural, relaxed wedding ceremony took place at Laguna Gloria. After a few readings of poetry and short stories from their best people, Ally & Matt exchanged personalized vows promising to support and cheer one another on for ever.
safari engagement inspiration
The two told me they wanted their wedding inspiration to be close to nature (check out the lake views) with a few African touches inspired by their safari engagement. The lavender mismatched bridesmaid dresses accented by white and green florals and one long dinner table really reflected their casual style.

Oh and the piñata, which strongly resembles Ally & Matt, was found the night before their rehearsal dinner at a downtown Mexican restaurant and became a silly symbol of fun. Having their wedding at Laguna Gloria was an obvious choice for the couple who have spent more than a few dates there enjoying the art and the peaceful tranquility of nature in the middle of the city.
