For Kristen the summer of 2007 was full of dancing, music and renewal. Chris’s summer was marked by the untimely passing of her mother in June. She was on a journey of healing and trying to refocus on the positive things in life. The beginning of August Chris and Kristen had a brief correspondence through My Space but nothing more transpired.
Two weeks later, they were both at the same club, ended up dancing together and the rest is history. They live together in Medford, MA. Chris has a massage therapy practice and Kristen is a sonographer at a local hospital.
Their Buddhist-inspired autumn wedding was held on the conservation land where Chris lived for five years. The property was transformed by a beautiful Sperry tent, luxury loos and taken over by 130 family and friends. Guests walked along the path towards the tent guided by Mason-jar lanterns attached to shepherd’s hooks. The couple’s adorable wedding monogram was prominently featured on their ceremony program, table numbers and directional signage. The party was rockin’ led by the brides who had prepared a few special dances, beginning with their first dance “As” by Stevie Wonder. It was a beautiful night for two beautiful women.
