Kate & Brian chose the natural setting of the John James Audubon Center for their wedding day. The ceremony was held in the beautifully restored barn and for the reception we moved into the adjacent open-air pavilion. These two are simply the sweetest and the day was laid back and fun – full of laughter, tears of joy and lots of dancing!

Kate looked amazing in her grey Anna Campbell gown with a crystal studded top from Lovely Bride. Her bridesmaids wore mix-matched blush and lavender gowns and her maid of honor popped in her sparkly Adrianna Papell gown. Kate wore her hair in a braided boho up-do which was stylish and practical on this steamy summer day!
Colorful details
Kate’s vision of a colorful, vibrant day couldn’t have come together more perfectly! Confetti & Co. embraced the colorful palette and decorated every inch of this wedding with geodes, copper geometric shapes and ombre colored ribbons. The ombre theme continued in their hand-written calligraphy welcome signs and seating chart. Falls Flowers created unique bouquets and centerpieces by mixing colorful bold blooms with wildflowers, pale lambs ear and curling alliums.
Reuse your decor at home

We chose to mostly purchase details we could picture reusing in our home. The rug we stood on for our ceremony is now in our bedroom, the sign we used above the bar is above our bar cart, and our picture frame table numbers were used for a new gallery wall in our kitchen. Spending money on those things didn’t just last the day, and we have romantic reminders of how lovely our wedding felt all over our home.
