Looking for some serious Southern Style #weddinginspo? Well … you’ve come to the right place. Our next wedding is filled to the brim with seersucker stripes, shades of pink and of course a few Southern cocktails. Get ready to be blown away by one polished preppy white chapel wedding.
Before you scroll down for all the prettiness, read on for some advice form the bride. As always be sure to visit the full gallery here for more Southern wedding magic. All photographed by Jessica Roberts.

What Are Your Priorities

My biggest advice to brides would be to sit down with your significant other FIRST THING and discuss what your “must haves” and priorities are for the wedding. For us, we knew having a wonderful photographer was a big priority for us. For others, they might really care about the food, venue, etc. Whatever it is – make it work and prioritize around those priorities.

Favorite Wedding Moments

From Jessica RobertsHarley and Chelcie had, hands down, one of the best weddings I have ever attended. Between the seersucker southern details, the location for the reception (a gorgeous private residence on the water in downtown Beaufort), Harley’s reaction to seeing his bride walk down the aisle at the Tabernacle Baptist church, his hip hop through the ages dance with his mom, and just every ounce of fun, love and happiness. It was a dream, and why I love doing what I do.

Pick Your Favorite Wedding Tasks

Take time doing what you want, and don’t bother with the other things. I spent time collecting hundreds of mismatched china dinner and dessert plates for our wedding, and many people were overwhelmed at the thought of me doing so, but I LOVED IT!

Spend You Wedding UnPlugged

Tell your matron/best man to take your phone starting at least on the rehearsal day. At this point, everything should be taken care of and if it isn’t…. IT’S OK! Breathe, enjoy every moment with your soon to be spouse… It goes by in a flash and you don’t want to look back and realize you were on your phone and stressing about things about of your control.
