the venue
With the help of Your Perfect Bridesmaid, Jackie and Chris said "I Do" at the end of June with the stunning backdrop of Oregon wine country, embracing an intimate celebration surrounded by their closest family and friends. With a guest count of under 50, the couple prioritized meaningful connection, ensuring that every guest felt like an integral part of their special day. Instead of spreading out across multiple tables, everyone was seated together at one long, beautifully styled table that overlooked the rolling vineyards, creating a warm, communal dining experience.
the flowers
Designed by Songbird Floristry, florals played a key role in setting the scene, with arrangements designed to feel organic and complementary to the European charm of Black Walnut Inn. Romantic blooms such as hydrangea, roses, sweet peas, cosmos, and snapdragons in a palette of soft cream, buttery yellow, deep mustard, and terracotta paired beautifully with the muted olive foliage.
the fashion
For the big day, Jackie wore a breezy boho lace gown with a dramatic plunging neckline. She kept her makeup soft and natural and wore her hair swept up in a romantic updo. Chris wore a classic black tuxedo paired with a black bowtie.
yard games
During the cocktail hour, guests were encouraged to explore the grounds of the vineyard, and they even had yard games set up. And because Black Walnut Inn is pet-friendly, their fur baby even got to be there for the special occasion.
ditching the dance floor
Rather than a traditional dance floor, Jackie and Chris opted for a relaxed atmosphere, allowing guests to mingle freely, sip wine, and enjoy intimate conversations under the soft glow of candlelight. Their focus on food, ambiance, and community made the evening feel like an elegant yet cozy dinner party—a true reflection of their love and values. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the farm-to-table menu featuring seasonal ingredients to the personal touches woven throughout the day. The result was a heartfelt, unforgettable celebration that honored not just their union but the people who had supported their journey.
