The Spot: Shady Canyon, in the hills of Irvine. In late spring and summer this open space provides both eye-popping wild mustard plants and vast stretches of muted dry brush. A great contrast for engagement photos!

The Details: Some people think of Irvine as cookie-cutter-ville with its master-planned communities. But give the city some credit for having lots of open space and greenery, even hills and valleys, which provide excellent natural backdrops for cute couples looking for outdoor engagement photos in Orange County.
