Naturally Elegant Early Spring Wedding

naturally elegant wedding bouquet

After a classic church ceremony, The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm was the perfect venue to showcase Clare & Andrew’s blend of sophistication and natural charm for their early spring wedding. They kept the colors minimal, opting for neutral tones and the softest pop of grey and blush.

Their indoor reception had a natural, airy feel with mismatched centerpieces, hanging greenery, and the prettiest cake with metallic accents. Anita Dybala Events helped pull it all together, while Emily Wren Photography was behind the lens capturing all the love as it unfolded, so be sure to keep scrolling for more highlights below + in the full gallery.

early spring wedding

From Emily Wren Photography: Clare & Andrew’s wedding was a study in the romance of early spring. All of the details-- from the delicate lace overlaying Clare’s gown, to the palette of cream, blush, gold and green--call to mind the way spring transforms the landscape with its subtle radiance.

sophisticated charm

The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm was the perfect venue to showcase Clare & Andrew’s blend of sophistication and natural charm. When Clare & Andrew pulled up to the manor house in the Rolls Royce provided by Advance Limos, it was a moment of pure British countryside luxury. Inside, A Cottage Gardener had brought the historic barn to life with cascading greens and artful sprays of barely blushing flowers.

glowing details

In processing the pictures of Andrew & Clare, together, and with their family and friends, the word that kept coming up for me was glowing. They look lit from within and I loved all the ways this radiance recurred throughout the day. I found it in the glittering detail on the bridesmaids’ dresses and Clare’s t-strap shoes, Andrew’s commemorative cufflinks, the lingering afternoon light gleaming through the trees, the elegant gold table number holders and, perhaps most deliciously, in the dazzling metallic-inflected cake from Felix’s Caketeria!
