So what happens when two Australians living in London decide to get married in Italy? Well, let's just say that Wylie and David’s destination wedding at Buranco Vineyard in Monterosso was a total dream! From their terrace ceremony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea to their fun wedding parade through the village, their love story unfolds with natural details and swoon-worthy moments throughout.

Pre-wedding nerves
From the bride: The best (and scariest) part of the day was standing up on the terrace above Buranco Vineyard, with the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop, in front of all of our nearest and dearest family and friends who had flown from every corner of the globe and saying "I do".
Planning a destination wedding from Afar
In the lead-up to the big day we had regular skype calls to sort out the details, which were easy to tick off and very well organized. We were lucky enough to visit from London once or twice to visualize how everything would look. Everything was handled with ease by Melina from Cinque Terre Wedding- from our strange request for a french-inspired cake to satisfying our ultimate 'Italian wedding fantasy' and parading through the town to the cheers of the villagers!!
Naturally Beautiful
From the wedding planner: Natural and Rustic were the keywords for Wylie and David’s wedding style – the perfect fit for the naturally beautiful, relaxed and big hearted couple. The ancient Buranco Vineyard set in the Cinque Terre – the world’s oldest collection of medieval fishing villages – was the perfect backdrop for this style. Olive trees, lemon groves and vine covered cliffs lined the seaside stone path for their bridal procession from ceremony to reception area - Mamma Mia style! Old world wine barrels, mason jars hanging from crumbling walls and wild Italian flower compositions further enhanced the look.
